Corporate website for a language school

website redesign & development
01 — OVERVIEW
British Club needed to update its existing website, make it easier to use, improve loading speed and better explain what the school actually offers.
The new structure had to show much more than classes: the school’s history, academic depth, extracurricular activities, international programmes and summer camp. We also added the legal information required for educational organisations and prepared the site content around the new structure.
02 — REBUILDING THE STRUCTURE
The old website no longer reflected the scale of the school.
We reorganised the content around the things that actually define British Club: academic preparation, extracurricular life, international activities and the wider school community.
03 — SEARCHING FOR THE RIGHT VISUAL DIRECTION
The school already had an established identity built around a rich raspberry-red colour, so the first concepts started from that existing system.
One direction kept the strong colour palette and added graphic accents, photos of students and sticker-like elements inspired by study notes and the energy of the school community.
Another direction was softer and warmer, with rounded illustrations, a calmer palette and photography framed by unusual geometric shapes.
04 — GOING DEEPER
Neither concept felt completely right.
Instead of polishing the surface, we went back to the school’s methodology and looked for the idea that could hold the whole visual system together.
British Club’s approach is based on the theory of multiple intelligences. That became the turning point: each colour started to represent a different area of development, and the methodology itself became part of the visual language.
The design stopped being decoration and started working as an extension of the school’s educational philosophy.
05 — COMMUNITY, ENERGY AND COMPLEXITY
We kept the sticker-like elements because they added the right amount of teenage energy and helped the site feel alive.
At the same time, the final system had to support a large amount of information without becoming chaotic.
The result combines a structured website with a more expressive visual language — colourful, active and clearly connected to the school itself.
06 — FINAL WEBSITE
After the final direction was approved, the complete set of pages was designed and prepared for development.
The finished website was expanded with subtle animation, Russian and English versions, and accessibility features for users with disabilities.
07 — OUTCOME
The project became more than a visual refresh.
Going back to the brief and taking a closer look at the school’s methodology helped us find a visual idea that actually belonged to British Club.
The final website connects the school’s academic approach, community and complex content structure in one system.
