Corporate website for a construction company

Website design & development
01 — OVERVIEW
D5 is a large construction group based in Vladivostok. The company works across several areas, including construction, design, renovation, development and outstaffing.
Their previous website was built more like a traditional B2C sales funnel. It didn't explain the scale of the company very well and wasn't useful enough when D5 presented itself to other businesses or took part in tenders.
We decided not to simply redesign it. The whole structure needed to change.
02 — REBUILDING INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
The new homepage works as a starting point rather than a long sales page.
It quickly shows what D5 does, which areas the company works in and what projects it has completed. Visitors can then go deeper into the information they actually need.
The company page collects the information that matters in B2B and tender work: company figures, licences, working principles, team, partners and completed projects.
03 — BUSINESS AREAS
D5 works in several very different areas, so putting everything on one page would make the site difficult to use.
Each business area has its own page with a short introduction, cooperation formats and relevant projects.
This also lets the company send a client directly to the part of the website that matters to them instead of explaining the whole group every time.
04 — PROJECT LIBRARY
Projects are one of the most important parts of the website, especially when D5 presents its experience to a potential client.
I designed a separate project catalogue with navigation and filters, so visitors can quickly find relevant work by type or business area.
Instead of mixing everything into service pages, the company now has one project library that can keep growing as new work is completed.
05 — A SYSTEM FOR NEW PROJECTS
I also designed a reusable project page that the D5 content manager can fill in without asking a designer to create a new layout every time.
The template includes the project description, key facts, important details and a large section for photos.
Larger projects don't have to fit this template. For projects with more content, such as Matrossky Club, I design a separate page with its own structure.
06 — OUTCOME
The finished website gives D5 a much clearer way to present the company, its services and its experience to business and public-sector clients.
It is also easier for the team to maintain: new projects can be added using the existing templates, while larger cases can get their own pages when needed.
